We’ve been working with Al for just under a year. You don’t realize how unfocused and misdirected your efforts are until you have someone like Al come in and evaluate the condition and direction of your company. We were in a unique but difficult position. We started our company from scratch, which meant we didn’t have too many bad processes or habits to change; however, the reason we didn’t have any of these legacy issues to deal with was the direct result of not having any formalized processes or procedures.
Engaging Al has been one of the best business decisions that we have made in our path to developing a successful construction business. Working with Al on planning power and operating power has really aligned our priorities and focused our energies on the big projects that we need to be working on, as well as helped us in establishing the foundation for our standard operating procedures and the development of our flat rate pricing book. This was definitely an investment in time and resources that will accelerate the growth of our business in a controlled and manageable direction.
When I look back to see what we have accomplished since our first meeting, I know that we would not be on the path we are on today if it were not for Al’s involvement in the development and implementation of the programs to ensure the continued growth of our company.
